The Smiley 1/2 Wave Flex Antenna is a high performance VHF telescopic antenna built for real world use. This is a BLEM unit, meaning it may have minor cosmetic imperfections, but performance is fully tested and not affected.
Designed for maximum efficiency, this antenna delivers a true omni directional 7 dBd gain, giving you noticeably better range than a standard rubber duck. The flex coil matching network keeps SWR low at band center with a ±5 MHz window, providing stable and reliable performance.
Lightweight, flexible, and rugged, it is built to handle demanding field conditions while working with radios under 25 watts.
The telescopic design allows you to tune across the VHF band:
All sections extended: 140–150 MHz
One section down: 150–160 MHz
Two sections down: 160–170 MHz
Collapses to 8" and extends to 36", making it versatile and easy to carry.
